Helimagnetism of Fe: High pressure study of an Y2Fe17 single crystal
Result description
Combined neutron diffraction and magnetization measurements under pressure showed that the collinear ferromagnetic phase of Y2Fe17 is substituted by the pressure induced helical incommensurate phases. The complex pressure-temperature-field behavior of the pressure induced helical magnetic phases is attributed to intrinsic properties of the iron sublattice

Helimagnetismus železa: studium monokrystalu Y2Fe17 za vysokých tlaků
Czech description
Kombinovaná měření magnetizace a neutronové difrakce za vysokých tlaků ukázala, že kolineární feromagnetická struktura sloučeniny Y2Fe17 je nahrazena tlakem indukovanou spirální nesouměřitelnou strukturou. Komplexní chování tlakem indukované spirální magnetické struktury za vysokých tlaků, nízkých teplot a v magnetickém poli je připisováno specifickým vlastnostem železa
