Pressure effects on magnetism in U intermetallics: the UPtAl case
Original language description
Application of hydrostatic pressure up to 1 GPa yields of the spontanous magnetization Ms with a rate dMs/dp=-0.27?B/GPa, whereas TC increases (dTC/dp=-2.5 K/GPa). Extension of the electrical resistivity measurements of UPtAl to pressures up to 22 GPa reveals that the initial increase of TC with pressure continues up to 6 GPa, where TC reaches the maximum value, and decreases with further increasing pressure
Czech name
Vliv vysokých tlaků na magnetismus intermetalik uranu: případ UPtAl
Czech description
Použití vysokých tlaků do 1 GPa má za následek pokles spontánní magnetizace Ms se směrnicí dMs/dp=-0.27?B/GPa, zatímco TC roste (dTC/dp=-2.5 K/GPa). Rozšíření měření elektrického odporu UPtAl do tlaku 22 GPa odhalilo, že počáteční vzrůst TC s tlakem pokračuje do tlaku 6 GPa, kde TC dosahuje maxima a dále s rostoucím tlakem klesá
