We present a measurement of the top quark pair (t anti-t) production cross section in p anti-p collisions at ?s=1.96 TeV using 230 pb-1 of data collected by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We select events with one charged lepton, large missing transverse energy, and jets in the final state. We employ lifetime-based b-jet identification techniques to further enhance the t anti-t purity of the selected sample.

Czech description
V Run II experimentu D0 byl změřen účinný průřez produkce páru kvarků t v případech s nabitým leptonem, s chybějící transversální energií a jety v koncovém stavu. Pomocí identifikace b-jetů na základě měření doby života b, byl získán čistější vzorek případů. Naměřené hodnoty odpovídají očekávaní standardního modelu.
