    Relaxor ferroelectric PbMg1/3Ta2/3O3 ceramics and thin films were investigated by means of broad-band dielectric, time-domain terahertz (THz), and Fourier-transform infrared (IR) spectroscopy in the frequency range 100 Hz?90 THz at temperatures 20 to 900K. The relaxation appears below the Burns temperature Td in the THz range; it slows down on cooling through the microwave and MHz range and anomalously broadens. IR spectra give evidence about the lower local symmetry, which can be assigned to the presence of the polar clusters below Td.

    Dielektrická relaxace a měknutí polárního fononu v relaxačním feroelektriku PMT

    Relaxační feroelektrikum PMT ve formě keramik a tenkých vrstev bylo studováno pomocí širokopásmové dielektrické, THz a infračervené Fourierovy spektroskopie ve frekvenčním oboru 100 Hz ? 90 THz při teplotách od 20 do 900 K. Pod Burnsovou teplotou u 700 Kvznikají polární klastry, jejichž dynamika je vidět v Thz oblasti. S ochlazováním relaxační frekvence měkne do mikrovlnné a Mhz oblasti a zároveň se relaxace anomálně rozšiřuje. Infračervená spektra svědčí o nekubické lokální symetrii, která se vysvětlila existencí polárních klastrů.
