Original language description
The heat capacity, susceptibility and magnetization of polycrystalline CeCu4Al are presented. The determined electronic heat capacity coefficient ? = 210 mJ mol-1 K-2 confirmed heavy fermion character. Magnetic ordering was not observed down to 0.5 K.

Czech description
Měrné teplo, susceptibilita a magnetizace polykrystalického CeCu4Al byly změřeny. Z experimentu určený koeficient elektronového příspěvku ? = 210 mJ mol-1 K-2 potvrzuje těžko-fermionový charakter sloučeniny. Až do teploty 0.5 K magnetické uspořádání nebylo nalezeno.
