Spin reorientation transition in the Er2-xFe14+2xSi3 single-crystal studied by the 57Fe Mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements

  • Original language description

Spin reorientation in the single crystal of Er2-xFe14+2xSi3 with x=0.25(5) has been studied by means of the magnetic measurements and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy. The spin reorientation from the basal plane onto the c axis occurs for all iron sublattices, except for iron dumbbells substituting erbium (2b), in the temperature range of 130?80 K. A gradual second reorientation of the above sublattices occurs below 50 K leading to the partial recovery of the high temperature spin structure.

Spinová reorientace v monokrystalu Er2-xFe14+2xSi3 studovaná Moesbauerovskou spektroskopií a magnetickými měřeními

  • Czech description

Spinová reorientace byla studovaná Moesbauerovskou spektroskopií a magnetickými měřeními. Reorientace z bazální roviny do osy c nastává u všech Fe podmříží s vyjímkou Fe atomů substitujících Er (2b) při teplotách 130 ? 80 K. Další postupná reorientace nastávající pod 50 K je částečným nábratem k vysokoteplotní struktuře spinů.
