Original language description
A deconvolution analysis of ion currents, which is based on the use of shifted Maxwell-Boltzmann velocity distribution, is applied to determine the temperatures and the centre-of-mass velocities of ions emitted from polyethylene and Cu targets irradiatedby pulsed laser beams. This analysis can render important details in establishing the mechanisms responsible for the ion emission.
