Custom-made laser scanning optical microscope (LSOM) for fluorescence and Raman imaging
Original language description
In the article our laser scanning optical microscope (LSOM) protoype for fluorescence and Raman imaging is introduced, including detailed description of its parts and principle of operation. Its advantages and properties are mentioned, such as high resolution, wide variability and flexibility(excitation wavelenghts from UV to NIR, variable angle illumination) and other possible applications. The great advantage in comparison with commonly used industrial fluorescence microscopes is based on the wide application field. It will be used for light beam induced current measurements of solar cells, for investigation of waveguiding optical properties of thin films and planar microstructures as well as for mentioned fluorescence microscope and Raman imaging applications.
