Growth and VUV luminescence of Tm doped BaY2F8 single crystal

Original language description

Tm 0.1% doped BaY2F8 single crystal was grown by the ?-PD method. Crystal growth was performed in high-purity mixed gas of CF4 and Ar. Small rectangular samples were cut from the grown crystal and polished for the measurements of optical and scintilationproperties.
