Flux pinning and superconducting properties of melt-textured NEG-123 superconductor with TiO2 addition
Original language description
Effect of TiO2 doping on flux pinning and superconducting properties of melt-textured NEG-123 was studied. Small quantities of TiO2 do not deteriorate superconducting transition but contribute to vortex pinning. The optimum content is 0.1 mol% for whichJc reaches 550 kA/cm2 at 65 K and 320 kA/cm2 at 77 K. The material is able to levitate permanent magnet at boiling point of oxygen, 90.2 K.
