To better understand the scintillation mechanism in SrHfO3-based scintillators we investigate in detail their x-ray excited radioluminescence emissions. Based on corresponding photoluminescence emission and excitation spectra we tentatively associate theobserved bands with excitonic or defect-related emissions.
