Second harmonic conical refraction in GUHP
Original language description
A comparison of linear and second harmonic conical refraction in guanylurea(1+) hydrogen phosphite (GUHP) single crystal is reported. Favorable material properties of GUHP allowed us to observe well resolved second harmonic conical refraction rings including the Poggendorff division. Study of the refraction patterns confirmed that the spatial distribution of the electromagnetic field behind the sample is well comparable in both linear and quadratic case.
