Original language description
Kinetic model is presented to determine kinetics of folded chain polyethylene crystal nucleation by numerical solution of kinetic equations. Kinetic parameters of our model are determined from the experimental data of the total number of nuclei and alsofrom the size distribution of nuclei. It is shown that good agreement between model computations and experimental data of the total number of nuclei does not generally imply the correct prediction in the size distribution of nuclei. It is necessary to compare both dependencies, the total number of nuclei and the size distribution of nuclei, to get all parameters correctly.
