Real-space distribution of the Hall current densities and their spin polarization in nonmagnetic zine-blende semiconductors
Original language description
The empirical pseudopotential method is used to establish spin polarization of electron and hole Bloch states in nonmagnetic semiconductor crystals having zine-blende structure. Analysis of the real-space spin distribution leads to the conclusion that the applied current gives rise to a local spin polarization accompanied by spin-polarized Hall-current densities.
