Optical response of DyN
Original language description
Optical response of polycrystalline DyN thin film is reported from far-infrared up to near-UV region. Optical band gap of 1.2 eV was observed. When dopoed with nitrogen vacancies it shows free carrier absorption and a blue-shifted gap associated with theMoss-Burstein effect. Polar phonon with dielectric strength 20 was observed at 280 cm-1.
