    Composite material, consisting of nanosized ZnO:Ga(La) embedded in a transparent polymer matrix was prepared. ZnO:Ga(La) was synthesized via photo induced precipitation from aqueous solution containing zinc formate, hydrogen peroxide and gallium nitrateor lanthanum acetate.
