An antidamping spin?orbit torque originating from the Berry curvature
Original language description
We report the observation of an anti-damping spin orbit torque stemming from an analogous Berry phase effect to the spin Hall effect. The spin orbit torque alone can therefore induce magnetization dynamics based on a scattering-independent principle.
