Fano resonance and dipolar relaxation in lead-free relaxors
Original language description
Low-frequency dynamics of environmental friendly lead-free Ba(Zr0.5Ti0.5)O3 relaxor ferroelectric has been investigated by means of ab initio molecular dynamics. The calculated dielectric response in terahertz frequency region exhibits coupling between Ti and Zr sublattices which each show entirely distinct dynamic responses. The microscopic origin of this coupling is discussed with respect to relaxor physics.
