Vertices for correlated electron systems with anomalous propagators
Original language description
We study effects of electron correlations in the equilibrium state with condensed singlet Cooper pairs. Anomalous propagation of elementary excitations emerges due to dynamical creation and annihilation of Cooper pairs. We use the Nambu matrix representation for the one and two-particle propagators. We analyze in detail two-particle vertex functions and show how multiple electron-hole and electron-electron scatterings can be represented via matrix Bethe-Salpeter equations. We find the corresponding Schwinger-Dyson equations determining the self-energy from the two-particle vertex in each of these scattering channels. We explicitly perform the analysis for a single impurity attached to a superconductor. Explicit analytic formulas for single-channel approximations are found for this model.
