Raman study of 0.62Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3?0.38PbTiO3 single crystal
Original language description
Polarized Raman scattering microscopy investigations of tetragonal single crystal of PFN-38PT allowed us to characterize the Raman signature of distinct ferroelastic domains. The analysis of the incident and scattered light polarization allowed us to distinguish five independent sorts of polarized Raman spectra of PFN-38PT. Comparison of these spectra strongly suggests that the dominant part of the spectrum below 800 cm-1 can be related to the zone center polar modes of PbTiO3-like tetragonal phase of P4mm (Z=1) symmetry.
