High magnetic field study of the Dy2Fe17Hx compounds with x = 0 - 3.8
Original language description
Magnetization of Dy2Fe17Hx compounds (hexagonal crystal structure) was studied on aligned powders in magnetic fields up to 60 T. Dy2Fe17 is ferrimagnet with TC = 375 K and spontaneous moment of 16.5 mB/f Insertion of hydrogen significantly modifies the magnetization, Curie temperature and intersublattice exchange interactions. Depending upon the composition, hydrides exhibit easy plane or conical type anisotropy. It is found that the intersublattice coupling between the Fe and Dy sublattices is reducedwith increasing hydrogen conten
