    Improvement of scintillation properties on Ce doped Y3Al5O12 scintillator by divalent cations co-doping

  • Original language description

    The Mg co-doped Y3Al5O12:Ce single crystal scintillators were prepared by micro pulling down method in a wide concentration range 0?3000 ppm of Mg co-dopant. Absorption and luminescence spectra were measured together with several other scintillation characteristics, namely the scintillation decay, light yield. The scintillation decay acceleration was observed and increased with increasing Mg concentration.
