Orbital momentum and topological phase transformation
Original language description
A two-dimensional network model representing an array of coupled orbitals of nonzero orbital momenta has been used to illustrate the origin of the topological phase transformation between insulators of different Chern number. The model is based on the standard tight-binding approach, improved by inclusion of wave-function phases of orbital states.
