Advanced scheme for high-yield laser driven nuclear reactions
Original language description
Laser-induced nuclear fusion reactions are nowadays widely investigated as an alternative approach for the production of fusion energy, which could potentially have a high societal impact. Although the most investigated laser fusion reactions are the DDand DT due their high cross section at relatively low temperatures [1], other nuclear reactions have been theoretically and experimentally studied [2?5].
