Comprehensive description of blinking-dynamics regimes in singledirect-band-gap silicon nanocrystals
Original language description
Blinking dynamics of methyl-capped direct-bandgap silicon nanocrystals is studied. The data are characterized using the autocorrelation function, its relation to the distributions of on- and off-times is deduced. Three temporal regimes - a non-blinking regime, power-law blinking and exponential fall-off - are revealed; timescales characteristic for these regimes vary depending on the excitation intensity.n
