Diffusive propagation of nervous signals and their quantum control

  • Original language description

We have developed an approach to the transfer of electrical signal via nerve fibres that is alternative to the standard descriptive theory. Using modified model of submarine cable we have proved that the signal transfer has, in contrast to the standard theory but in agreement with experiments, a character of diffusion, which is controlled by quantum diffusion of Na+ and K+ ions.
