Synthesis and characterization of Co3O4nanoparticles:Application as performing anode in Li-ion batteries
Original language description
A simple, rapid, and low-cost method for preparation of Co3O4 nanoparticles (Co3O4-1 and Co3O4-2) using solid-state calcination of mixture of Co(NO3)2.6H2O and salicylic acid (1:1 weight ratio) at two different temperatures of 500 and 600oC is reported. The morphologies and structure of the as-prepared Co3O4 nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM).
