Original language description
Room-temperature 2.1 µm laser based on a novel Ho3+-doped disordered garnet Gd3(Ga,Al)5O12, resonantly pumped by a Tm:fiber laser, was investigated. Slope efficiency of 45 % and a wavelength tunability in the range 2055-2116 nm was achieved.
