Argentotetrahedrite-(Cd), Ag6(Cu4Cd2)Sb4S13, has been approved as a new mineral species by the International Mineralogical Association - Commission on New Minerals, Nomenclature and Classification (IMA-CNMNC) using samples from Rudno nad Hronom, Slovak Republic. In this work the mineral's structure and its properties were studied and the results are presented.
