    In Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), the ablation efficiency and subsequent plasma generation are highly dependent on the wavelength of the laser radiation to be absorbed by the sample. To optimize this process beyond the fundamental 1064 nm wavelength of a Nd:YAG laser, a wavelength conversion module has been developed. These modules utilize second harmonic generation (SHG) process to produce a 532 nm beam and sum frequency generation (SFG) in the process of third harmonic generation (THG) to produce a 355 nm beam, thereby expanding the range of analyzable materials. In addition to wavelength tuning, precise control of laser intensity is also crucial to avoid excessive ablation or damage to samples. To address this, a fundamental beam attenuator module was designed, allowing fine adjustment of the 1064 nm pulse energy before nonlinear conversion or delivery to the target.
