Changes in the F1 region electron density during geomagnetic storms at low solar activity.
Original language description
The geomagnetic storm effects in electron density at F1 region heights was observed at 180 and 190 km in autumn, but this effect was absent in spring. The F1 region appears to be much more stable during geomagnetic storms than the F2 region. A substantial intra-hour variability was found in maximum electron density in the F2 region, while it was very weak in the F1 region.
