A large amount of data of thermal plasma has been obtained onboard the MAGION-5 satellite. Typically one outbound and one inbound passages per day have been recorded.The ion densities in the plasmasphere together with the plasmapause position were obtained from inbound passages. The statistical data on the plasmaspheric ion density is presented.
