Time-discrete geometrical integration of finite deformations

Result description

Employing natural Riemannian geometry of the space deformation tensors, inherited from the principle of virtual power, enables exact and geometrically consistent procedure for linearization and integration of a finite deformation process in time variable, resulting in Runge--Kutta--Munthe-Kaas method.
