  • Original language description

    The paper onvestigates the dynamic response of a maglev vehicle running on guideway girders and considers the support settlement. The magnetic forces are controled using the Ziegler-Nichols Method. The response is decomposed into the static response dueto support settlement and the dynamic component caused by inertial effect of the beam vibration. It is used the iterative approach and the numerical studies indicate the decreasing levitation gap of a meglev vehicle which may mitigate the vehicle response. The study of a gap on the response at higher speeds.
