Cultural heritage represents a complex domain characterized by a multidisciplinary understanding of its documentation, monitorinf and protection. An interesting and innovative approach to historic buildings preservation and assessment of structures decayis provided by the application of modern semantic web technologies. These offer an important contribution to artificial data processing and can positively affect pursuing the main scopes of heritage conservation. This paper introduces a research focusedon the development of a mobile application for bulit heritage assessment called MONDIS mobile. The MONDIS mobile application 'runs' on an ontological model which formalizes the representation of the bulit heritage domaine
