The 3D tomography and additive manufacturing in archeology
Original language description
The X-ray tomography is ever growing method for investigation of artistic and archeological objects. The virtual model obtained through the tomography can be used directly for creating almost an exact copy of the artifact with additive manufacturing methods. The lecture shows the possibilities of modern X-ray imaging and tomography for the heritage science field and demonstrates new directions available thanks to the additive manufacturing.
