Wave transmission of linked railcars moving over multi simple beams under dual resonance
Original language description
The aim of this article is: to formulate the bridge-induced dual resonance on a moving train with wave transmission, to establish the dispersion relation of wave transmission in periodically linked cars using the Floquet-Bloch theorem, to determine the pass and stop bands of wave transmission from the dispersion relation, and to unveil the key parameters affecting the critical stiffness of the couplers of a train under dual resonance. It was shown that once the dual resonance is invoked, not only does the train's response keep increasing as it moves ahead, but also it is enhanced by the waves transmitted from the front to the rear cars of the train.
