The abstract presents results from aerodynamic wind tunnel testing on a set of slender, porous and non-porous Ubeams.nAll tested beams share identical U-shaped cross-sections with a side ratio of two. The impact of two different blockage conditions on aerodynamic coefficients is analysed under smooth flow conditions across various wind attack angles. The blockage correction method proposed in the ESDU document was successfully applied to the experimental drag coefficient data, with differences in the corrected results highlighted and examined in detail.
