Original language description
A method for measuring length changes of porous materials within a high temperature range is presented. The method is based on the comparative principle. Two specimens are measured at the same time in a specially designed furnace, one of them being fromthe measured material, and the other one from a standard material with the known linear thermal expansion coefficient. The practical application of the method is demonstrated on several types of glass fiber reinforced cement composites
