    Fringe Tracing Technique in the Process of Optical Testing

    This work describes an application of fringe tracing method for testing of optical surfaces in optical industry. A practical measurement of spherical optical surfaces with the interferometer Zygo GPI XP was performed and results from the method based onlocation of the interference fringe centres were compared with results obtained by the evaluation software of the interferometer Zygo MetroPro. Results confirmed a very good possibility of application of the fringe tracing technique for interferometric optical testing
