Plastic Instability and Misoriented Crystal Lattice
Original language description
The origin of a non-homogeneous plastic deformation is treated in the framework of continuum plasticity as a bifurcation from a uniform deformation mode. To enable clear identification of the causes for the instability, the continuum mechanical model isbuilt up and analysed in several steps. A special attention is paid to the formulation of periodic misorientations of crystal lattice which is interpreted as initial stages of cell or subgrain structures
