Original language description
A computer model of rapid phase transitions in CdZnTe pseudobinary semiconducting system induced by pulsed laser irradiation is presented. As an example of practical application, Nd:YAG laser (16 ns FWHM pulse duration, three different wavelengths, 266 nm, 355 nm, and 532 nm) irradiation of CdZnTe is simulated. The effect of variations of the optical properties of the material with laser wavelength on thecharacteristics of the laser irradiation process is discussed
