The Effect of Temperature on Structure of Concrete
Original language description
Structure changes of the cement gels of concrete are carried out under the influence of the heat load in the temprature range 25 - 910 °C. These changes are studied in the region of micro- and mesopores using the methods of physical adsorption of nitrogen. It was found out that the volume and surface of pores increase up to a temperature of 500 °C approximately. At the further increase of temperature, the volume and surface of micro- and mesopores decrease, so that the dependence of characteristic of pore space on temperature is approximately parabolic. The causes of this phenomenon are discussed
