Original language description
An integral part of majority renovation of historical buildings in Czech Republic is a dewatering of walls. The solution of dewatering is individual for every case and depends on many factors (category of acting damp, allocation in field, place of building, wall quality). The claims of State Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage play an important role too. The requirement of preservation of historical structures leads to choice of dewatering process with minimum of side effects. A suitableway is using of physical phenomenon called electroosmotic flow.

Czech description
Nedílnou součástí rekonstrukce bvětšiny historických objektů v ČR je jejich odvlhčení. Způsob odvlhčení je nutno řešit individuálně a závisí na mnoha faktorech ( např. na typu vlhkosti, umístění objektu, kvalitě zdí ). Důležitou roli hraje i stanovisko Státního památkového úřadu. Požadavky na zachování historických struktur vedou k výběru odvodnění s co nejmenšími vedlejšími účinky. Jednou z vhodných metod je využití fyzikálního jevu elektroosmózy.
