Ion binding isotherm is a parameter that is measured not very often in the scientific laboratories but its knowledge is quite critical for computational modeling of salt transport in building materials. In this paper, chloride binding isotherms of cementpaste are determined by two different adsorption treatments, namely for crushed specimens as in the original method by Tang and Nilsson and for small but not crushed specimens so that the effect of the porous structure can be estimated.
