Experimental Analysis of Track Bed Structure with Reinforcing Geosynthetics

The paper presents the results of experimental tests aimed at the analysis of the behaviour of track bed with inserted reinforcing geosynthetics. Among geosynthetics, selected types of reinforcing geotextiles, reinforcing geogrids and reinforcing geocomposites were monitored. The tests were carried out on a section of a railway track structure in an experimental box with plan dimensions of 2x1 m. In all, 6 track bed models were studied, always with and without the reinforcing geosynthetics. By using theplate load test, the values of the moduli of deformation of all models were established on a structural layer and a rail bed layer under the sleeper. Special sensors mounted inside the track bed model allowed monitoring of the settlement at selected height levels. The established data on the track bed behaviour will be applied for the preparation of the design methodology of track bed with reinforcing geosynthetics.

Experimentální analýza pražcového podloží s výztužnými geosyntetiky

V příspěvku jsou prezentovány výsledky experimentálních zkoušek, které byly zaměřeny na analýzu chování pražcového podloží s vloženým výztužným geosyntetikem. Z výztužných geosyntetik byly sledovány vybrané typy výztužné geotextilie, výztužných geomřížía výztužného geokompozitu. Zkoušky byly provedeny na elementu konstrukce železniční tratě v experimentálním boxu o půdorysných rozměrech 2x1 m. Sledováno bylo 6 modelů pražcového podloží bez a s výztužným geosyntetikem. Pomocí statické zatěžovací zkouškybyly u všech modelů zjišťovány hodnoty modulů přetvárnosti na konstrukční vrstvě a vrstvě kolejového lože pod pražcem. Speciální měřidla, zabudovaná do modelu pražcového podloží, umožnila monitorovat poklesy sledovaných výškových úrovní. Zjištěné údajeo cho-vání pražcového podloží budou využity pro přípravu metodiky návrhu pražcového podloží s výztužným geosyntetikem.
