Original language description
Coordinate systems in PostGIS and transformation results using freeware proj has been demonstrated in this paper. This article should not only show the features and ways of use of PostGIS as a powerful tool for storing and manipulation of the geodata anthe remotely network access to them in the frame of expected use by the subjects working with the geodata in the Czech Republic area, but as well the solution of the transformation among particular coordinate systems used in our area using the PROJ library.

V tomto příspěvku byly demonstrovány souřadnicové systémy v prostředí PostGIS a výsledky transformací použitím freeware PROJ. Tento článek by neměl ukazovat pouze vlastnosti a cesty užití PostGISu jako silného nástroje pro ukládání a manipulaci z geodatya vzdálený přístup k nim v rámci předpokládaného užití subjekty pracujícími s geodaty v České republice, ale rovněž řešení transformací mezi jednotlivými souřadnicovými systémy na našem území užitím knihovny PROJ.
