    A Comparison of Capacitance and TDR Techniques for Determination of Moisture Profiles in Building Materials

    Comparison of time-domain reflectometry and capacitance methods for determination of moisture content in porous building materials is presented in the paper. Basic principles of compared methods are given, including their calibration process. On the basis of measured moisture profiles, the application of the methods in the engineering practice is discussed.
