    Reservoirs' Siltation Measurements and Sediment Transport Assessment in the Czech Republic, the Vrchlice Catchment Study

    Main objective of this paper is to propose a simple methodology for measure of sediment amount within reservoirs as well as to present available methods review. Then use of this methodology at Vrchlice Catchments case study is presented. Total sediment amount between 125000 ~ 140000 m3 was measured in Vrchlice reservoir and the values of 110 976 m3 (using USLE), resp. 105833 m3 (using Watem/SEDEM) were predicted by the erosion models.

    V článku jsou prezentovány možnosti zjišťování objemu sedimentu v nádržích a způsoby jeho vyhodnocování. Dále je publikována případová studie výpočtu transportu sedimentu z povodí pomocí Univerzální rovnice ztráty půdy a modelu Watem/SEDEM a verifikace výpočtu - porovnání se skutečně zjištěným objemem sedimentu v nádrži.
