The significance and contribution of private sector participation in the development and reconstruction of infrastructure is perceived within the framework of both providing sufficient (lacking) capital in the public investment funding budget restrictions for the development and reconstruction of infrastructure and of facilitating the completion of demanding and expensive infrastructure projects as well as improving the quality and efficiency of public services, including the definition of areas suitable for private sector participation. However private participation cannot be understood as universal solution and therefore it is necessary to identify all strengths and weaknesses.
